Who we are

We trade as Peter Stuart.

What information we collect

When you order a bed, contact us, or sign up for updates, we collect:

• ·Your name and contact details (email, phone, address)
• ·Order and delivery information
• ·Payment information (handled directly by Stripe — we never see or store your card details)
• ·Any messages or enquiries you send us
• ·Anonymous information about how you use our site (page visits, browser type, country) — only if you opt in to analytics

How we use it

• ·To make and deliver the bed you ordered
• ·To answer your questions and provide support
• ·To send order confirmation and delivery emails
• ·To send the occasional workshop update, only if you've subscribed
• ·To improve the site, only with your consent

We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers. We share it only with the companies we need to run the business, listed below.

Who we share it with

• ·Stripe (payment processing) — see Stripe's privacy policy
• ·Resend (transactional emails) — see Resend's privacy policy
• ·Cloudflare (site hosting and security) — see Cloudflare's privacy policy
• ·Royal Mail or our own delivery, depending on where you are
• ·HMRC and our accountant, where required by law

That's it. No marketing platforms, no data brokers, nobody else.

How long we keep it

• ·Order records: 7 years (legal requirement for tax purposes)
• ·Email correspondence: 3 years, then deleted
• ·Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe
• ·Cookie consent records: 2 years from last update
• ·Anonymous analytics: 14 months maximum

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• ·Ask us to correct anything wrong
• ·Ask us to delete your data (where we're not legally required to keep it)
• ·Ask us to send you a copy of your data
• ·Object to how we use your data

Children

We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you're under 16, please don't use this site without a parent or guardian.

If we change anything material, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top and, if it affects you, we'll let you know by email or through a banner on the site.
