Sometimes a customer wants something we don't make as standard. A wider headboard. A taller bed for an older parent. A matching bedside table to go with their Harbottle. A four-poster, even.

If it's made of wood and Peter can build it, we'll quote for it.

What we take on

  • · Beds in non-standard sizes
  • · Custom headboard designs
  • · Matching bedside tables and chests of drawers
  • · Headboards only, fitted to an existing bed base
  • · Children's beds and cots [CONFIRM]
  • · Other solid-wood furniture, on request

What we don't

  • · Anything in MDF, plywood, or chipboard
  • · Upholstered furniture (we don't do soft furnishings)
  • · Repairs to other makers' work

How it works

    You tell us what you have in mind

    A rough sketch, a photo of something you've seen, or just a description. Whatever you have. Use the form below or call.

    Peter looks at it

    We come back with a yes or no, an approximate price, and any questions.

    We draw it up properly

    Peter draws the piece up properly and quotes a fixed price. No surprises.

  4. 4

    We make it and deliver it

    You confirm, we make it, we deliver and install. Same as any other bed.

Bespoke pieces typically start around £X [CONFIRM] and take longer than standard ranges, depending on what you've asked for. We'll give you a specific lead time when we quote.
